There is a long journey between a piece of marble coming out of the earth and becoming something you can place on your table.
From the Earth to Your Home
Our marble is sourced from the stone-producing regions around Udaipur, including local stone from the Kesariyaji area. Once selected, the stone is cut into workable pieces and carefully matched to the product it is meant to become.
Then comes shaping, turning, carving, cutting and polishing.
Depending on the design, our craftsmen work with stone-cutting equipment, CNC and laser engraving, lathe machines and, where required, detailed hand-finishing.
What may look like a simple marble object when it reaches your home can involve many stages of work and several skilled hands before it is ready.
The Art of Turning
Some of our marble pieces take shape on the lathe, where a block of stone is gradually transformed into a bowl, sphere, vase or other rounded form.
The process demands patience and control. A little too much pressure can change the shape. A natural vein can suddenly appear as the stone turns.
The craftsman’s job is not simply to remove stone.
It is to know how much to remove — and when to stop.
